Brute Angels

During the Eighteenth century a family of stonemasons named Brute lived in the Grwynne area, some them in the village of Llanbedr.  The memorials they carved were particularly notable for the distictive angels decorating them, and there are several examples of these both inside the Church and in the churchyard.

The angel shown here is on the south wall of the church, outside.  Come and see if you can find it, and how many more?

There are also lovely examples of Brute angels at Patricio, well worth a visit.
