This Blog is for updates on the progress of the work repairing and improving the church building.  The first phase has now got underway, and will include repairs to the roof and stonework, photovoltaic panels on the roof, improved disabled access, updating the electrics and lighting, installing a sound system and an exciting project making textile panels to show the history of the church and the people who have lived around it.  We would welcome volunteers to help with that part.

The Crickhowell Stitch-up is on display for a few weeks in the church, which is very exciting, and many thanks to Arts Alive for allowing us to borrow it.

The panels were designed by Lisa Hellier but stitched by volunteers, and are interesting to look at as we think about our own project, just beginning, to stitch our own panels, which will also be designed by Lisa. We want to tell the story of the church and the people around it, both in the past and now; so we need stories, and we need people to stitch. If you have any ideas, or would like to be involved, get in touch.
